2024 GCCISD Graduations Set

GCCISD has announced their commencement schedule for the classes of 2024.

Stuart Career Center Graduation Ceremony will be held at 5:30pm on Tuesday, May 21 at Lee College.

The IMPACT Early College High School Graduation Ceremony will be held at 7:30pm on Tuesday, May 21
at Lee College.

Goose Creek Memorial High School will hold its commencement ceremony for the class of 2024 at
7:30pm on Wednesday May 22 at Stallworth Stadium.

Ross S. Sterling High School will graduate its class of 2024 at 7:30pm Thursday May 23 at Stallworth
Stadium.

Robert E. Lee High School will celebrate its 2024 graduating class at 7:30pm on Friday, May 24 at
Stallworth Stadium.

Senior Drop-Off Information
- Graduates must be dropped off to Gentry Junior School (1919 E. Archer Road) by 5 p.m.

Graduate Dress Code
- Campuses will have specific information and guidelines to which all students must
adhere in order to walk at graduation.
- Gowns should be ironed for your ceremony.
- Caps and gowns should be worn, fully zipped to walk in the graduation ceremony. Caps
must be worn flat, parallel to the floor. No decorations on caps. Tassel is worn on the
right side.
- Wear comfortable clothing; you will be outside. Pants, jeans, dresses and skirts are
acceptable. Ties are optional.
- Wedge heeled shoes and flats are acceptable. No heels, Crocs or flip flops.
- Exemplary achievement medals may be worn when approved by the principal.
- Students will receive their diploma cover when crossing the stage.
- Diplomas will be passed out at the end of the ceremony.

Stallworth Stadium Information
- Plan ahead. Expect heavy levels of traffic.
- Tickets and parking passes are NOT required to attend the Goose Creek CISD graduation
ceremonies.
- Stallworth Stadium will open the home and visitor gates at 6 p.m.
- The graduation ceremonies will begin promptly at 7:30 p.m.
- Do not block or stand in the aisles or on ramps to take pictures.
- Only Goose Creek CISD approved photographers are permitted on the field.
- Handicapped seating will be available.

Prohibited Items

- No signs larger than a poster board are allowed.
- No signs of any kind can be attached to the railings or bleachers.
- No helium balloons, umbrellas or laser pointers permitted.
- No excessive noisemakers (whistles, air horns, bullhorns, etc.)
- No drones.
- No glass containers of any kind (including vases).
- No controlled substances or alcohol 
- No smoking or vaping is allowed inside of Stallworth Stadium  
- No weapons. Section 46.03 of the Texas Penal Code prohibits weapons of any kind on
school premises.
- No outside food will be permitted.
o Sealed bottled water, soda or juice is permitted.
o Concession stands will be open.

Rainout Plan
- If we move to our rainout plan, all families will know by 2 
- Students will receive two (2) digital tickets in the event of a rain out. The tickets can only
be used once. Attendees can print or scan the ticket directly from their email. Children
under the age of one (1) do not need a ticket.
- Please download and save your ticket to your mobile device BEFORE attending the
event.
- The ceremony will be streamed on the district’s website.
- No strollers or carriers will be allowed. No outside food or drink will be allowed.
- If we move to our rainout plan, all families will know by 2 p.m.

- Goose Creek Memorial HS - GCM Competition gym
- Ross S. Sterling HS - RSS Winnie Brown Gym
- Robert E. Lee HS - REL Auditorium
- IMPACT Early College HS - REL Auditorium
- Stuart Career Technical HS - REL Auditorium
